Overall - March 2007:
Diner in the front, and liquor in the rear! One stop on the Bunting Blitz night, the wings were big and uniquely spiced, best of the evening. Once again an 80+ score was dashed due to a lack of choice at the taps, Blue or Coor’s light doesn’t really cut it.
Derek was in his glory with non-stop George Thorogood on the jukebox! Every song is in no way similar to the last! How does he do it?
A few of us gambled a few dollars on the 50/50 draw, with no luck cashing in the tickets at RickiJo’s. 50/50 - well it wasn’t quite that simple, it was 6 for 5, 18 for 7, or 9 for 2. A scary moment was when the ticket dispensor guy got his hand trappend in the ticket jug. Tense times, until he realized he would be freed by releasing his death grip on the change at the bottom. Phew.
Gotta love a bar where the patrons steal pictures of old guys off the wall. Maybe they thought it was someone famous? In its spot is a sign that reads "Picture missing, family member, please return. Will make photocopy for you". Why anyone would want a photocopy of an old man’s member is beyond us, but hey to each their own.
