Overall - 1998:
Q: Why do they call it Tricky Nicks? A: Cause they trick you into coming back and then serve you these tiny hummingbird wings and you keep on buying them hoping they get bigger and they don’t so you keep on drinking hoping that it’ll all get better and the wings keep on coming all puny and dry and you accidentaly get 10 of them in your mouth at once and they don’t taste good and by 11:00 you want to cry but you order another round of wings but they are small too so you don’t know what to do so you go home and contemplate shooting yourself.
NO beer on tap? Well they painted the place up a little bit, and the paint fumes all but killed the chickens! These poor critters barely made it out of the egg, and into the sauce they go! Hey, give em a week at least. Cripes. Even the Vegetarians in the group were eating them, no meat, no problem. But we kept on ordering them! Why you ask? Ah, that first batch must have been a fluke, we’ll try them again. Nope, still little fucks. Try em again! What are the odds that a third batch would be so puny? And why no picture on the wing page? Don’t have a microscope attachment for the digital camera. This was the single highest drop in DBSP in BHON history - 60%!

One kind of beer on tap? Who did they hire to paint the place, Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles? In 20 years the place will be rustic, it’s just junky now. Decent wings, the SAF was good but El Nino reared its ugly head and some of the wings were deemed to be "Veggie Wings". |
