Overall - Oct 2005:
Another excellent BHON night. The wings this time were incredibly huge, hot and saucy above expectation. Still rather pricey in our opinion, the size made up for cost this time, so we didn’t need to order too many extra to break the bank. A large turnout even provided us with some carryover for this first time in ages!
Gallon O Rickards anyone?

Very good once again!
Why the slide in score you ask?
Forty-five bucks for fifty wings, that’s why! Since when do wings cost more than a case of beer? They’re chicken wings for fuck sakes? Almost a buck a wing??? Ouch....do we at least get blowjob with that? Sheesh...
Overall - March 2004:
Yum! Once again, Wrigley’s scored with their consistency. Big, hot and saucy wings that didn’t disappoint this crowd. After noticing a downslide at many of our favourite bars over the past few months, it was nice to see a place maintain their high standards.
Also, Kudos to Chris for making it out three weeks in a row, and a welcome back to Sokum to make this an excellent outing for all.
Overall - June 2003:
Great wings this time round! Big, saucy, almost right on the money! Much better than the usual breaded fare. It was also nice not to be drowned out by the usual rowdy sports-bar crowd, which we could attribute to the fact that there wasn’t any sporting events of interest going on, or perhaps the new non-smoking policy has scared some of the regulars away?
Also Kudos to Wrigley’s for having working A/C on one of the hottest nights of the summer so far. At least we didn’t have to worry about the beer evaporating before we could drink it all!

Bigguns man! Picture this: Nine big screens showing WWF wrestling, NASCAR for Mr. X. and of course the hockey playoffs. Huge jugs, and 4 litre pitchers of beer too! Did I mention big jugs? Oh, and the wings were huge as well...everythings big in this place! A new BHON favorite! |
