Here’s a novel idea - open a sports bar, call it Wacky Wings, and serve well...all kinds of wacky flavours of wings! Sounds like a place that has BHON written all over it doesn’t it? We definately had to try it out!
So how wacky are we talking? Well...we counted over 86 different flavours of wings on the menu! EIGHTY-SIX! Holy crap! Everything from the standard Buffalo, to Cajun, to Honey Garlic, to Parmesean, to Dill Pickle, to Sour Cream and Onion. Some sounded interesting to downright disgusting! (Maple Cinnamon Wings? Fruit Loops Wings - WTF?)
We ordered up a couple combo packs where they let you mix and match different batches of flavours. Prices were reasonable averaging about 76 cents per wing in quantity.
Overall we played it reasonably safe, ordering some standard Buffalo style hot, some Wacky Style hot, some Cajun hot and an order of Caribbean Jerk. All were quite good - but the Jerk wings were nowhere near what we used to get at the Taste of the Caribbean! We even sampled some of their Wacky Stupid sauce, along with which comes a Waiver form you must sign absolving the bar of any liabilty should you die from eating it!
We’ll definately have to return to sample more from this unique new establishment in a future BHON visit!
