RIP - 2020: Closed due to pandemic...
Overall - Jan 2020:
One of our regular spots for BHON Real Man’s Breakfast - we wondered whether it would be a worthy Wing spot?
We arrived at the usual time and found it mostly empty for a Thursday night. The dining area was closed, leaving an odd selection of tables surrounding the bar available for seating. Had we been a large group, we would have been out of luck. We were promptly told that the kitchen would be closing shortly, so we put in our wing order right away.
The wings were big and meaty with a unique hot sauce. We asked if they had anything hotter than the standard hot and the kitchen staff whipped up a custom batch for us with jalapeno bits added to the sauce. Props for that.
The beer selection was....well....underwhelming and certainly not what we prefer. We settled for Rolling Rock which was the darkest they had on tap.
Overall - good wings, big and meaty, unique sauce, good value. Beer selection not really what we prefer.
