Third Annual Beer Tasting - Strange Brew III!!!

This year’s Strange Brew event brought us a record 17 different beers from around the globe. Also a record SIX in a row flushable varieties that had flavours ranging from distilled Christmas Tree to something that leached out of an old prostitute’s vagina! After our previous experiences with foul tasting brew, we learned that some beers are better off being dumped without a trip through the digestive system!

Once again, chef Costco did not disappoint with the big and tasty Pinty’s wings and the BHON Clubhouse came through as the venue of choice. Below are this year’s results....

Gopher	Canada	5.0	75	Typical Canadian Beer. Doesn’t taste like dead Gopher. Why is there a cock on the label?
Hobgoblin	UK	5.2	80	Little of everything, bit bitter, bit hoppy, dark.
Zubr	Poland	5.6	75	Not distinctive, not bitter, low on body, but smooth.
Kawartha Lakes Raspberry Wheat	Canada	4.5	50	Pop Shoppe meets OV. Too sweet, too fruity. Pez on crack. First flusher ever.
Amsterdam Natural Blonde Lager	Canada	5	70	Nothing Spectacular. Dirty dirty whore. Meh.
