It’s a college pub...that’s about it. Looks exactly the same as the previous incarnation of whatever was here before, except they hung up some surf boards and gave it a tropical theme.
Guinness on tap - a good start.
The wings sucked balls - we ordered hot and saucy and got dry and crusty. The value was good at 50 cents a wing for the thursday night special, but they’ve got to work on getting the fucking order right. Maybe drunken Brock students enjoy eating dried up wings that look like an old man’s ballsack, but I don’t. I guess when you’re used to eating Kraft Dinner while drinking away your OSAP, you have to have lower standards!
The service was terrible, we’d get more attention from an ADHD child than the servers here. On top of the fact she had to "close us out" early to go work the bar while we’re sitting in the fucking bar not 10ft away.
DJ Suck-Deez-Nutz was only slightly better than karaoke. At least our ears weren’t bleeding from the screeching at the end of the night. |
