Overall:
Proof positive that looks can be deceiving. This is one of those little hole in the wall type of places that you’ve probably driven past 1000 times without giving it a second thought. If it wasn’t for Steve stopping there after bowling one night, we probably would have never thought of it either. Good thing he did!
WINGS: We had several rounds of their big hot and saucy wings along with a few of the dry Montreal (think cajun) spiced style. Suprisingly good, decent sized and quite reasonably priced for once. Definately worthy of a BHON visit.
BEER: The lack of anything other than BLUE on tap kept them out of the 80% range, though they did have cheap domestic bottles that kept us from going dry all night.
ATMOSPHERE: Tiny little place - just enough room around the bar for a pool table and a few seats. Kinda reminds me of likes of the Rex in Welland with the feel of a neighbourhood beer joint.
VALUE: Even drinking bottles all night, we had carryover for the first time in ages - proof positive that sometimes the smaller places give more bang for your buck! We’ll be back!
