Overall - March 2009:
After a decade we returned to the Elbow Room. I guess it was good since we stayed till 1:00am! The place was packed, which was a good sign. Must be the best wing spot in Welland (or maybe the only good wing spot in Welland?)
What were once 20 cent wings 10 years ago are now 49 cents, but still some of the cheapest wings we’ve experienced in quite some time. These recession buster wings were certainly the stimulus package we were looking for. Smallish size, but an excellent sauce with a decent afterburn that were just about the right value for the money.
We didn’t expect to find Guinness, but they also had Rickard’s Red on tap this time around which helped boost the score. If the place has lasted ten years, they must be doing something right.
Overall - Dec 1999:
Nicely sized wings, hot, but a burning kinda hot. The waitress had jugs! (Full of beer). What a fine ass! (Donkey competition on T.V.) Talk about cheap! (20¢ wings) She wouldn’t give us what we wanted! (Rickards Red Beer)
