This month we continue with the Marvel theme and introduce another actress from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Born in 1982 to a British mother and American father, the English stage actress Hayley Atwell is best known for her portrayal of SSR Agent Peggy Carter in the Marvel franchise. Her early career began with an acting degree from Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2005, followed by various roles in both stage and television. Her breakthrough role as Peggy Carter in the 2011 film ’Captain America: The First Avenger’ has led to appearances in many other Marvel works, culminating in her lead role in the televison series ’Agent Carter’ that began airing in 2015.

Although she might not be a superhero per-se, her stage presense is undeniable. Oh...and she has the best rack in the Marvel universe!!! 

Ladies and gentlemen! This year marks the twentieth anniversary of BHON! Since our humble beginnings in September of 1996, BHON has outlasted countless trends. We’ve also produced a total of 192 bar reviews on our site, saw the elimination of smoking in public spaces, the birth of several BHON babies, marriages, divorces and re-marriages of some members along with the comings and goings of many faces over the years. Once again, I took some time over the Christmas break to binge watch some of the TV shows I had gotten behind on, including another run of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Last season we saw the character of Skye transform into her new identity as ’inhuman’ Daisy Johnson aka Quake. It also refreshed my memory of how strikingly hot the young Asian-American actress, Chloe Bennet is! They could basically make a spin-off series with her running around in leather hotpants and a skimpy tank-top and I’d declare that another instant hit for the Marvel franchise!

Actually, how about we pair Daisy up with Scarlett Johansson for a Quake/Black-Widow summer blockbuster (cockbuster?) Are you listening Marvel? Please....take my money!!!
