BHON Site for the Deaf Launched!

In an Internet first, the BHON web site is proud to announce complete accessibility for the hearing impaired!!!

Instead of a background audio this month, we have embedded a special message in American Sign Language to help those with auditory sensory difficulties feel right at home. We hope this will the the first in many great enhancements to the web site to help bring enjoyment to all segments of the population.




Downtown Pub Crawl 2005

Finally a bit of a break from one of the hottest summers we’ve seen in years! We decided to take advantage of a warm summer evening with a perfect breeze to enjoy a few of downtown St. Catharines finer establishments.

The evening began with a round of Guinness at Patrick Sheehan’s Irish pub, followed by a round of homebrewed Dark Wheat and some huge, tasty wings at the Merchant Ale House. "Oh...we have a special! Pitcher of a house draft of your choice and 2 pounds of wings for $20!" Set a brother up!

Our final stop of the evening was Kaz’s, for a couple more pitchers of Guinness and a round of wings on the patio while we watched the humanity go by on St. Paul Street.

All in all a really fun BHON night, with an intimate appeal. Although there were many more bars on the list to be enjoyed, we decided to take our time. Why rush a Guinness???




July is Tolerance Month

Last month, a motion was brought forth that the amount of adult
content on the main BHON page be reduced. Of course we believe that
this site should be a reflection of our collective personal tastes
and should be accessible to as wide an audience as possible.

So, in order to appease those who find such material objectionable
this month's BHON page will be completely devoid of any scantily clad
female images or intolerant sexual commentary. We are sure this will
please the more sensitive tastes of some of our members. Enjoy...




The Heat is On! Protect Yourself from UV Exposure!

As summer fast approaches, we at BHON wish to remind our valued
members and visitors about the importance of protecting themselves
from the sun's harmful UV rays. Don't forget to use sunblock
before enjoying a day of fun in the sun!

 



BHON Movie Night 2005

Dirka Dirka! Mohammed Jihad!
It was an unusually warm May evening when BHON got together to celebrate the release of the Team America DVD! Of course, the night wouldn’t have been complete without the requisite wings and pizza courtesy of Duffs!

...You had me at Dicks Fuck Assholes...

Thanks again to Dave for use of the facilities and all who attended to make this a memorable night!
